MY FIRST 5K A NOTE FROM MY CHEERLEADERS
ME ABOUT TO GET PASSED BY SOME LITTLE GIRLS
I ran my first 5k on Spud Day. I ran it in 32:46 and placed 31 out of 66 runners. Not bad for my first run, considering I just started training in June.

HIM vs. US?

This year my family competed in the annual Spud Tug, where the winner gets bragging rights and the loser... mashed potatoes. Emilie and Steven wanted to compete with their cousin Aimee, but they needed few more people. They recruited two more kids and than talked their stepdad into it. It all goes by weight, but because they had an adult on their team, they had to compete adult teams. They won their first two matches, including the match that included the heavyweight in the picture. There were 4 more just like him on his team and my little family stood their ground. They beat them!?!? The third round Emilie and Trey weren't so lucky. Note the mashed potato bath.

Enjoy theRide

This is one of the layouts I used for my entry to the ScrapSketch CT. The picture is one of my favorites of my son and his dog, Serious. Serious follows him everywhere, and was more than willing to catch a ride in a wagon made by his favorite boy.

Kristina Werner Color Challenge #50

Here is my take on the Color Challenge over at www.kwernerdesign.com. The challenge was to use the colors Red, Turquoise, Yellow, Brown and White. No more, no less. I came up with a little gift bag for a teen girl, a simple reminder to stay true to herself. I used misc. patterned paper, machine stitching, pop dots, a prima flower, a button and brown ric rak.

Thanks for stopping by.
